Dear Spring: see you next year.

I've always believed in Horoscopes and that whole crap of the moon and the planets.

I've always believed in music lyrics and the bands that I love.

I've always believed in Fashion Magazines and those crappy articles (cause the photo shoots are nice)

I've always believed in listening to my favourite song while watching birds fly or a car pass by.

I've always believed in cute and tidy.

Today I say fuck the planets and the love section in horoscopes, the fashion mags' crappy gifts. Fuck the car passing by and the ipod's battery that just died before the song finished. Fuck the birds cause they occasionally poo on your head. Fuck cute and tidy, fuck perfection and that pair of trousers that doesn't fit you anymore. Fuck the bus driver who didn't stop. Fuck the hairdresser that chopped half your hair. Fuck the shampoos that say "makes your hair shinier". Fuck the packed tube, yes, fuck it... even though you spotted a hot guy over there... fuck it anyway. Fuck that film that made you cry like a baby in front of your parents. Fuck your favourite nail polish. Fuck brands and their branding. I say what and when, who and why. Fuck it.

There's a song that always makes me cry and it's not slow.

I believe in lights and colours, smells and songs.

21st Century Breakdown World Tour 2010

* Click on the photos to enlarge

Ok, my photos are not the best, I was really far away and couldn't see properly so this is what my camera got. Anyway, the huge screens were helpful and you could see everything from there.

Apart from that, the show was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Is the best concert I've ever seen in my life so far (and I've been to a lot)
Billie Joe was astounding, his voice is incredible. Mike, a bit reserved but definitely showed his shocking bass guitar skills. Tré was sensational!!!! Such a performer and breathtaking drummer. LOVED IT!

I've always been a Green Day fan, specially of Billie Joe.
I think he's SMART and HOT

I definitely recommend their cds, there's so much going on there. In my opinion it's not just a punk/rock band, they managed to create a totally different concept of punk music with energetic and really strong lyrics as well as extraordinary songs.
Their most popular cds are: Dookie (1994) American Idiot (2004) and 21st Century Breakdown (2009)

1929-1993

One of the all time classics and my personal favourite is the amazing "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with Audrey Hepburn. My friend Amanda introduced me to Hepburn's world two years ago.

She's seems so delicate and fragile in that little black dress. The sunglasses are just mazing! and the hat with the scarf is my favourite outfit featured in the film. I really recommend the film, is not a masterpiece but it's amazingly endearing. The music is so sweet and it's filmed in NY.

She definitely looks better in the first half of the film, towards the end you can see her rocking an awful hairstyle given to her "lack of time" before moving to south america with her new boyfriend (so bad).

So, in my opinion the best part is when Holly and Paul spend the day together. That is the most romantic bit in a film I ever seen. Is not about being mellow and caring and all the romantic stereotypes fixed by movies. I think that bit in the film represents what two people enjoy doing while being together. Obviously you can see that "she's not into him", as her objectives are totally different, however, he's utterly sweet without being corny at all. He was really handsome and I could definitely see a difference between the first paul (before meeting Holly) and the second one, he was in love, obviously, but apart from that, I think she taught him how to have fun and seize the moment.

There's more behind this film that you imagine, now is when I realise I choose the wrong Elective at uni. But still, watch it!

Dance me to the end of Love.

As an old lover of jazz music, I always search for new and upcoming artists to add to my collection. I have been in a very beautiful French mood lately and so when I discovered Madeleine Peyroux I instantly fell in love with her music.
If you click on the title you will listen to one of my favorites, Dance me to the end of love.
Enjoy, fellow lovers.

On Sunday

*not remembering where i got this from

Hi everyone! (still 2 followers...)
I completely forgot to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the blog (8th June) but anyway...

There's been people asking me to upload some of my recent work, I do understand your excitement (not bragging... just joking) but I'm afraid I'm not. As I said, I'm very protective of my ideas but I will still think about it.

Great afternoon with the Unit 9 team on Friday. Great feedback and lots of fun. No alcohol.

Today I decided to work on Whittard of Chelsea (tea brand) and came up with really nice posters. However, still long way to go.

On Twitter

It's 1:16 am, let's copy paste from Wikipedia!

Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets aretext-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known asfollowers. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or, by default, allow open access. Since late 2009, users can follow lists of authors instead of following individual authors.[4][5] All users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, external applications (notably including those developed for smartphones), or Short Message Service (SMS), although the availability of SMS services varies by country.[6] While the service itself costs nothing to use, accessing it through SMS may incur phone service provider fees. The website currently has more than 100 million users worldwide.[7]

Since its creation in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Twitter has gained notability and popularity worldwide. It is sometimes described as "SMS of theInternet."[8] The use of Twitter's application programming interface for sending and receiving text messages by other applications often eclipses direct use of Twitter.

So yeah, there you can see a screen shot of my twitter account. I decided to post on this because it just came to my mind when I posted this recent tweet:

"this is why i decided to have a twitter... there are some comments facebook people can't cope with"

I started thinking about what I said and why I said it. I have two social networking accounts, in this case Facebook and Twitter. In Facebook I've got too many people I know to put up some comments or thoughts while in Twitter there's so many people that follow me and I don't know that I just don't really care. It's not having two different personalities is just being a bit less scared of what you say and how you say it.

I love Twitter, and I'm not ashamed of saying it.

In fact, I found it rather useful, it helps me to get over with things by saying what I think and how I feel to the world. Obviously I've got friends to do that too but this is kind of a different situation.

So yeah, I've got a twitter account because I enjoy having it.

PS: Special Order (Part 2) is not going to be posted in the next days sorry.

Back home

*J is in Nottingham, back home.

I know I've been saying that I don't like it that much, I think I was exaggerating (a bit).
However, I'm really happy to be back home! (I missed my bedroom so much)
On the other hand, leaving London was heartbreaking... as well as the other half of the blog, little C and the nights in her apartment.

I'll be back the 10th and 11th of June! So let's plan something big, drinks or whatever that involves drinking.

Can't wait for Gaga's - Alejandro music video!
Stay tuned cause it will be out i think the 7th June!!

ps: we've got another follower! :)

Heya, quick post here, thinking about changing my hairstyle from long to extremely short (under the collarbones, that's mad)
I'm very indecisive and need suggestions. Anyway, no one reads the blog...
